چکیده

Abstract Background Preoperative computed tomography (CT)-guided coil localization (CL) is commonly used to facilitate video-assisted thoracoscopic surgery (VATS)-guided diagnostic wedge resection (WR) of pulmonary nodules (PNs). When a scapular-blocked PN (SBPN) localized, the trans-scapular CL (TSCL) performed. In this study, we investigated safety, feasibility, and clinical efficacy preoperative CT-guided TSCL for SBPNs. Materials methods From January 2014 September 2020, total 152 patients with PNs underwent prior VATS-guided WR. Of these patients, 14 had SBPNs procedure. Results A were localized in patients. The mean diameter was 7.4 ± 2.4 mm. technical success rate scapula puncture 100%. No complications occurred near scapula. 92.9%. One dropped off when performing VATS duration 14.2 2.7 min. Retrospective study of scapular notches in reverse shoulder arthroplasties.

We conducted a retrospective study of 36 patients with reverse shoulder prostheses to assess whether placement of the glenoid component affected development of scapular notches. Minimum follow-up was 2 years. Glenosphere position and its relation to scapular notching was analyzed radiographically. The glenosphere overhung the inferior glenoid rim in 19 cases (52.8%) and was flush with the rim i...

Primary scapular winging may be due to neurologic injury, pathologic changes in the bone, or periscapular soft-tissue abnormalities. Secondary scapular winging occurs as a result of glenohumeral and subacromial conditions a...
